जवषय: जवद्युत उपकरण (गुणवत्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2020 तथा समय-समय पर दकए गए उसके संिोधनों के
आगामी चरणों के कायाान्वयन को स्ट्थजगत करने के संबंध में।
का.आ. 5038(अ).— िबदक भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अजधजनयम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 17 और धारा
25 के साथ पठित धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, तथा भारत के रािपत्र में प्रकाजित अजधसूचना सं.अ.
1896(ई), ददनांक 3 मई, 2024 द्वारा िारी जवद्युत उपकरण (गुणवत्ता जनयंत्रण) जद्वतीय संिोधन आदेि, 2024 के
अनुसरण में, तथा अजधसूचना सं.अ. 2007(ई), ददनांक 5 मई, 2025 द्वारा प्रदान की गई समय-सीमा के जवस्ट्तार की
जनरंतरता में, यह आदेि दकया िाता है दक उि आदेि की सारणी में जनर्दाष्ट सभी उत्पाद श्रेजणयों की प्रवतान जतजथ,
अनुक्रमांक 1.1(क) में उजल्लजखत तथा 10 नवम्बर, 2024 से पहले ही प्रवर्तात श्रेजणयों को छोड़कर, आगामी आदेि तक
स्ट्थजगत की िाती है।

3, उपखंड (ii) में अजधसूचना सं. स.ओ. 4044(ई), ददनांक 11 नवम्बर, 2020 के अंतगात प्रकाजित दकया गया था। इसके
उपरांत प्रवतान की समय-सीमा में जवस्ट्तार अजधसूचना संख्याओं स.ओ. 4492(ई), ददनांक 18 अक्टूबर, 2021; स.ओ.
5083(ई), ददनांक 28 अक्टूबर, 2022; तथा स.ओ. 2007(ई), ददनांक 5 मई, 2025 द्वारा प्रदान दकया गया।

तत्पश् चात, उि आदेि में संिोधन “जवद्युत उपकरण (गुणवत्ता जनयंत्रण) (संिोधन) आदेि, 2023” अजधसूचना सं. स.ओ.
2132(ई), ददनांक 9 मई, 2023 तथा “जवद्युत उपकरण (गुणवत्ता जनयंत्रण) जद्वतीय संिोधन आदेि, 2024” अजधसूचना सं.
स.ओ. 1896(ई), ददनांक 3 मई, 2024 के माध्यम से दकया गया था।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 6th November, 2025
Subject: Deferment of upcoming phase implementation of the Electrical Equipment (Quality
Control) Order 2020 and subsequent amendments from time to time-reg.
S.O. 5038(E).— Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with section 17
and section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), and in pursuance of the Electrical
Equipment (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2024, published in the Gazette of India vide
Notification No. S.O. 1896(E), dated the 3rd May, 2024, and in continuation of the extension of timelines
provided vide Notification No. S.O. 2007(E), dated the 5th May, 2025, the Central Government hereby
orders that the date of enforcement for all product categories specified in the Table to the said Order except
those mentioned at Sr. No. 1.1(a), which have already been implemented on the 10th November, 2024,
shall stand deferred until further orders.

Note.- —The principal Order, namely, the Electrical Equipment (Quality Control) Order, 2020 was
published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide notification
number S.O. 4044(E), dated the 11th November, 2020. Subsequent extensions in timelines were granted
vide notification numbers S.O. 4492(E), dated the 18th October, 2021, S.O. 5083(E), dated the
28th October, 2022 and S.O. 2007(E), dated the 5th May 2025.
Further, the Order was amended through the Electrical Equipment (Quality Control) Amendment Order,
2023 vide S.O. 2132(E), dated the 9th May, 2023, and the Electrical Equipment (Quality Control) Second
Amendment Order, 2024 vide S.O. 1896(E), dated the 3rd May, 2024.
