आदेश
नई दिल्ली, 2 मार्च, 2026
का.आ. 1125(अ).—भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अधिनियम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार, भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से परामर्श करने के उपरांत यह मत है कि यह जनहित में आवश्यक अथवा हितकर है, अतः फर्नीचर (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) आदेश, 2025 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित आदेश जारी करती है, अर्थात्—
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ:- (1) इन नियमों को फर्नीचर (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) द्वितीय संशोधन आदेश, 2026 कहा जाएगा।
(2) ये राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. फर्नीचर (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) आदेश, 2025 के पैरा 2 में, छठे परंतुक के पश्चात निम्नलिखित परंतुक अंतःस्थापित किए जाएंगे, अर्थात्:—
“बशर्ते यह भी कि इस आदेश में निहित कोई भी उपबंध ऐसे माल या वस्तुओं के आयात पर लागू नहीं होगा, जिनकी खेप के संबंध में लदान पत्र, आदेश के कार्यान्वयन की तारीख से पूर्व जारी किए गए हों तथा आगम पत्र, आदेश के कार्यान्वयन की तारीख से एक सौ अस्सी दिनों तक या उससे पूर्व दिनांकित हों:
बशर्ते यह भी कि इस आदेश में निहित कोई भी उपबंध ऐसे माल या वस्तुओं के आयात पर लागू नहीं होगा, जिनके लिए क्रय आदेश, इस आदेश के कार्यान्वयन की तारीख से पूर्व जारी किया गया हो तथा ऐसे माल या वस्तुओं के संबंध में लदान पत्र और आगम पत्र उस आदेश के कार्यान्वयन की तारीख से एक सौ अस्सी दिनों तक या उससे पूर्व दिनांकित हों, और आयातक ऐसी खेप की निकासी के सात दिनों के भीतर अपने अधिकृत हस्ताक्षरकर्ता द्वारा विधिवत हस्ताक्षरित अपने लेटरहेड पर क्रय आदेश, लदान पत्र, आगम पत्र तथा अन्य सहायक दस्तावेजों की प्रति भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो को उपलब्ध कराएगा।”

नोट :- मूल आदेश, भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग-II, खंड-3, उप-खण्ड (ii) में दिनांक 13 फरवरी, 2025 के सां.आ. 801 (अ) के माध्यम से प्रकाशित किए गए थे, जिसमें दिनांक 12 फरवरी, 2026 की अधिसूचना संख्या सां. आ. 774(अ), द्वारा संशोधन किया गया है।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 2nd March, 2026
S.O. 1125(E). —In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient in the public interest, hereby makes the following order further to amend the Furniture (Quality Control) Order, 2025, namely: -
1. Short Title and Commencement: -(1) This order may be called the Furniture (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2026.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Furniture (Quality Control) Order, 2025, in paragraph 2, after sixth proviso, the following provisos shall be inserted, namely: -
“Provided also that nothing in the order shall apply to imports of such goods or articles in consignment with Bill of Lading having shipped before the date of implementation of the order and Bill of Entry on or before one hundred and eighty days after the date of implementation of the Order:
Provided also that nothing in the order shall apply to imports of goods or articles where the purchase order for such goods or articles were placed before the date of implementation of the order, and the Bill of the Lading and the Bill of Entry in respect of such goods or articles are dated on or before one hundred and eighty days from the date on which the said order came into force and the importer shall provide the Bureau in its letter head duly signed by its authorised signatory, a copy of the purchase order, the Bill of Lading and Bill of Entry and other supporting documents within seven days of clearance of such consignment”.
