का.आ. 2579(अ).—िबदक भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अजधजनयम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 17 और धारा
25 के साथ पठित धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केंद्र सरकार की राय है दक िनजहत में ऐसा करना
आवश्यक और समीचीन है, और भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो के परामिश से, मिीनरी और जवद्युत उपकरण सुरक्षा (सावशजिक
तकनीकी जवजनयमन) आदेि, 2024 को संिोजधत करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत आदेि करती है, अथाशत्: -
1. (1) इस आदेि को मिीनरी और जवद्युत उपकरण सुरक्षा (सावशजिक तकनीकी जवजनयमन) संिोधन आदेि,
2025 कहा िाएगा।
(2) यह सरकारी रािपि में प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होगा।

मिीनरी और जवद्युत उपकरण सुरक्षा (सावशजिक तकनीकी जवजनयमन) आदेि, 2024 में, पैराग्राफ 1 में–
(क) उप-पैराग्राफ (2) में, “सरकारी रािपि में प्रकािन की तारीख से एक वर्श के पश्चात” िब्दों के
स्ट्थान पर, “1 जसतम्बर, 2026 को” िब्द, अंक और अक्षर प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकए िाएंगे;
(ख) उप-पैराग्राफ (3), के स्ट्थान पर, जनम्नजलजखत उप-पैराग्राफ प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथाशत्:-

“(3) यह 1 जसतंबर, 2026 से इस आदेि से संलग्न प्रथम अनुसूची में सूचीबद्ध मिीनों और जवद्युत
उपकरणों पर लागू होगा:
बिते दक इस आदेि से संलग्न प्रथम अनुसूची में सूचीबद्ध असेंबजलयों, उप-असेंबजलयों और
घटकों पर उस तारीख से लागू होंगे, जिस तारीख से इसे केंद्र सरकार द्वारा सरकारी रािपि में
अजधसूजचत दकया िाएगा।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 12th June, 2025
S.O. 2579(E).—Whereas In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with section 17 and
section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, is of the
opinion that it is necessary and expedient so to do in the public interest, and in consultation with the Bureau
of Indian Standards, hereby makes the following Order to amend the Machinery and Electrical Equipment
Safety (Omnibus Technical Regulation) Order, 2024, namely: -
1. (1) This Order may be called the Machinery and Electrical Equipment Safety (Omnibus
Technical Regulation) Amendment Order, 2025.
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Machinery and Electrical Equipment Safety (Omnibus Technical Regulation) Order,
2024, in paragraph 1, ––
(a) in sub-paragraph (2), for the words “after one year from the date of its publication in the
Official Gazette”, the words, figures and letters “on the 1st September, 2026” shall be
substituted;
(b) For sub-paragraph (3), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely: —
“(3) It shall apply to machines and electrical equipment listed in the first Schedule
annexed to this Order from the 1st September, 2026:
Provided that the assemblies, sub-assemblies and components listed in the first
Schedule annexed to this Order shall apply from such date as may be notified by the
Central Government in the Official Gazette”.
