का.आ. 1722(अ).—िबदक, केंद्रीय सरकार ने लोकजित में और भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अजधजनयम, 2016
(2016 का 11) की धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों के तित, मोर्फोलीन (गुणर्त्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2020 (जिसे इसके
पश्चात उि आदेि किा िाएगा) का.आ. 1893 (अ) के तित ददनांक 16 िून, 2020 को अजधसूजित दकया िै।
और िबदक, वैश्विक स्तर पर व्याप्त संकट को देखते हुए, केंद्र सरकार ने ब्यूरो के परामर्श से आपूर्तश श्रृंखला में
व्यवधान का सृंज्ञान श्वलया है और आश्वस्ट्त है कक मोर्फोलीन की उपलब्धता सुश्वनश्वित करने के श्वलए, उक्त आदेर् के सृंचालन
को अस्थायी रूप से श्वनलृंश्वित करना आवश्यक और समीिीन है;
अब, इसजलए भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अश्वधश्वनयम 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 25 की उपधारा (3) के साथ
पठित धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त र्श्वक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए और यि राय रखते हुए दक लोकजित में ऐसा करना आर्श्यक िै,
केंद्र सरकार भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से परामर्श करने के पश्चात उक्त आदेर् में श्वनम्नश्वलश्वखत सृंर्ोधन करती है, अथाशत्:-
मोर्फोलीन (गुणवत्ता श्वनयृंत्रण) आदेर्, 2020 के पैरा 2 में श्वनम्नश्वलश्वखत उपबंध जोडा जाएगा, अथाशत्:-

“परंतु उक्त माल या वस्तु की आपूर्तश श्रृंखला में ककसी भी प्रकार के व्यर्धान को रोकने के श्वलए, ऐसे भारतीय
मानक का अनुपालन 1 अप्रैल, 2026 से 1 जुलाई, 2026 की अवश्वध के श्वलए लागू नहीं होगा।”

का.आ. 4772(अ), तारीख 30 अक्टूबर, 2025 द्वारा संिोजधत दकया गया था।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 2nd April, 2026
S.O. 1722(E).—Whereas, the Central Government has notified the Morpholine (Quality Control) Order,
2020 vide S.O. 1893 (E), dated the 16th June, 2020 (hereinafter to referred as the said Order) in the public
interest under the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016);
And whereas, in view of the exigencies prevailing globally, the Central Government, in consultation with the
Bureau, has taken cognizance of the supply chain disruption and is satisfied that to ensure availability of the
Morpholine, it is necessary and expedient to suspend the operation of the said order temporarily;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with sub-section (3) of the section 25
of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), and being of the opinion that it is necessary so to do in the
public interest, the Central Government, after consultation with the Bureau of Indian Standards, hereby makes the
following amendment to the said Order, namely:-
In the Morpholine (Quality Control) Order, 2020, in paragraph 2, the following proviso shall be
inserted, namely:-
“Provided that to prevent any disruption of supply chain of the said goods or article, the conformation
to such Indian Standard shall not be applicable for the period from the 1st April, 2026 to 1st July, 2026”.
