Exchange has scheduled a mock trading session in Equity segment on Saturday July 25, 2026. As per circular no. 20260319-21 & 20260610-41 issued regarding introduction of Closing Auction Session (CAS) & Standard Operating Procedures, mock trading session has been scheduled as follows –
- Mock trading session 1 from its Disaster Recovery (DR) site - To facilitate testing of changes related to Closing Auction Session (CAS).
- Mock trading session 2 from PR site - To test trading functionalities without CAS changes, to facilitate live trading from Monday July 27, 2026.

C. Trading members are requested to note following Important instructions -
- A separate test scrip master file shall be provided for testing Closing Auction Session (CAS) during the mock session. This will be in addition to the scrip master files provided for live trading. Kindly refer the exchange circular - 20260330-40 & 20260422-15 for CAS session identifier introduced in scrip master format.
- This test scrip master file shall be made available on Friday July 24, 2026 on or before 11:00pm on the Exchange website at the following location - https://www.bseindia.com/members/index as a separate hyperlink with file name as Mock_24-07-2026.zip.
- After the mock trading session 1, members are requested to replace the test file with the appropriate scrip master file to be used for live trading on Monday, July 27, 2026.
- BOLT Pro TWS version
- New version of BOLT Pro TWS 13.30 for CAS functionality testing during 1st mock trading session It shall be available for download on July 25, 2026 via DLOAD only via lease line connectivity and shall not be available to connect via internet.
- BOLT Pro TWS 13.25 for 2nd mock trading session, as well as for live trading from Monday July 27, 2026. Members are requested to use existing version 13.25 which is currently used for live trading.
All trading members are requested to ensure that BOLT Pro TWS version 13.25 should be used for live trading from Monday July 27, 2026
- Trades of Trading session 1 shall not be available in Trading session 2
- In mock trading session 1, market data via NFCAST stream shall be available as per new format (version 6.2 published via circular no. 20260709-11) on the existing multicast IP & Port (multicast IP - 227.0.0.1 & Port - 18901)
- In mock trading session 2, and for live trading from Monday July 27, 2026, market data via NFCAST stream shall be available as per existing format (version 5.0) on the existing multicast IP & Port.
- As informed via circular no. 20260709-11, market data stream MDI / EMDI API new version 1.4.5, which is already applicable for live trading since Monday July 20, 2026, will continue to be available on mock trading day in session 1 & 2.
- Closing reference price for CAS eligible securities shall be calculated based on VWAP of trades executed between 08:45am - 09:00am.
- Kindly refer enclosed Annexure (connectivity details) for connecting to DR site.
Trading members using third party trading application are requested to take note and use this opportunity to test their respective trading application for CAS functionality during mock trading session.
Market participants are requested to note that the mock trading session is merely for the purpose of testing and familiarization and that the trades resulting from such mock trading will not attract any margin obligation or pay-in and pay-out obligation and will not create any rights and liabilities. Participants are requested to participate actively in the mock trading sessions.
