NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 2 1 st March, 2018 G.S.R. 2S3(E).-ln exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Ministry of Finance. Department of Revenue, Central Board of Direct Taxes, Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) Group 'C' Posts. Recruitment Rules, 20 lS, namely:- I. (i) The rules may be called The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Direct Taxes, Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) Group 'C' posts, Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 20 18. (ii) They shall be come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY [PART Il-SEC. 3(i) I 2. In the Schedule to the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Direct Taxes. Stall Ca r Driver (Ordinary Grade) Group C posts, Recruitment Rules, 2015, the following shall be amended namely- (i) In column 4: a) for the existing entries in Heading "Pay Band and Grade Pay", the words "Level in the Pay Matri x" shall be substituted. b) for the words and figures "Pay Band-I, Rs. 5200-20200 +Grade Pay of Rs. 1900" the word and figure "Level 2 in the Pay Matrix (19900-63200)" shall be substituted. (ji) In Column 11: a) for the words and figure "Pay Band-I of Rs.5200-20200 +Grade Pay of Rs. 1800" [he words ancl figure "Levell in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 18000-56900)" shall be substituted. Following the recommendations of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 20 16 dated 25'11 Jul y, 20 16 the Government had issued instructions vide DoPT OM No. AB.14017/1312016-Estt.(RR), dated 9'11 August, 20 16 to amend the existing Pay Band and Grade Pay by the new Pay Structure.
