With reference to above mentioned subffi, it is informed that NaUonal Sports Day is celebrated annually on August 29 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, India's greatest spofting legend. Known popularly as'The Wizard of Hockey', he is remembered for his many contributions to the Indian sports. In this regard, you are kindly requested to take necessary action on a priority basis, as per the attached D.O. letter and SOP received from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. Additionally, you are requested to share high-quality photographs and video clips of the events/activities organized, along with a brief description, for hosting on ESIC's official social media handles.
