No. I-15012/1/2021-ICT Date: 13.05.2026 CORRIGENDUM Subject: Implementation of OTP based Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in the ESIC Staff Portal.   Reference is invited to this Office Circular of even number dated 11.05.2026 regarding implementation of OTP-based Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in the ESIC Staff Portal.     In partial modification of the aforesaid circular, the date “31.05.2026” mentioned in Para 2 may be read as “17.05.2026”.     It is further informed that the MFA functionality is proposed to be made operational from 18.05.2026, after which access to ESIC Staff Portal shall be permitted only through Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).   All other contents of the circular dated 11.05.2026 shall remain unchanged.     This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.                           (Gaurang Bhatnagar) Deputy Director, ICT To, 1. Madam / Sir,   Please refer to the subject cited. It is being informed that the Director General has approved the implementation of mobile OTP based Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for logging in to the ESIC Staff Portal.   To facilitate smooth implementation of the same, all head of offices shall ensure that mobile numbers of all users working under their jurisdiction are duly verified and updated in the ERP data base before 31.05.2026. The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)/User Manual for the same is attached herewith.
