No. P-11/12/SPREE Correspondence/2025-Rev.I Date: 02.12.2025 Memorandum Subject: Monitoring of SPREE 2025– Regarding It has been observed that the progress under the SPREE 2025 initiative is not upto the mark. The Hon'ble Minister, Labour & Employment has expressed its displeasure over the poor performance and has directed to seek explanation of poor performing regions, depute officers from Head Office to field units for day to day close monitoring and to ensure target set for each region are met. Accordingly, officers listed in Annexure-A are deputed for the following monitoring activities: 1. Periodic field visit to respective region(s) assigned. 2. Daily monitoring of registration of new units and new employers during SPREE 3. To assess the action taken by the RD/SRO I/c regarding data collection, collation and utilization for the identification of coverable units. 4. Monitoring of field visit by SSOs to these potential units along with the advisory letters for pursuance. 5. Monitoring of daily visits by the SSOs with regards to no. of identified cases given to them along with copy of advisory letters. Each visit by the SSO to be recorded on SPREE App. 6. Monitoring PR activities, holding seminars, meeting with Employer/ Employees bodies, etc. Weekly performance report to be submitted every Friday to email ID ac- revenue@esic.gov.in This issues with the approval of Director General.
