SCOPE This release ver.7.4.1, is an update/improvement of the previous eFile release version 7.4.0. The changes are based on the feedbacks, suggestion and change requests received from various users of different ministries and departments. It also includes few fixes for the issues faced by users in the previous version. PURPOSE This is a release document for eFile version 7.4.1; containing following new processes and features: PROCESS AND FEATURE ENHANCEMENTS (IMPROVEMENTS) S. NO. MODULE/ SUB MODULE FEATURE SUMMARY DESCRIPTION 1. eFile/Mobile View eFile Now Mobile- Friendly A mobile-optimized web view of the eFile application has been introduced, enabling users to seamlessly access and perform key functions from their mobile devices. The following capabilities are now supported: Core Functionalities:  Sending of Files and Receipts   Draft Approval and Digital Signing  Writing Yellow and Green Notes File & Receipt Access:  Open and read Files, including: o Notes (Green & Yellow) o Correspondences o References o Drafts o Movements o File Details  Open and view Receipts, including: o The PDF letter o Associated metadata  Search Files/Receipts based on Search Scope Referencing Support: Referencing functionalities in Notes are now available in mobile view:  Note to Note referencing  Note to Correspondence referencing Viewing all types of referencing within Notes:  Note to Note  Note to Correspondence  Note to Migrated Notings  Note to Local References eSign Management: Users can now manage eSign credentials directly through the mobile-compatible view:  Register eSign using OTP / Fingerprint (FP) / IRIS  View eSign Registration Details  Deregister eSign when required 2. eFile/Dashboard Provision for Notification of Files Pending for Review Under Section Hierarchy This feature enables officials to notify users within their section hierarchy regarding pending file review actions through Email, SMS, or Sandes. The provision ensures timely communication and helps sections proactively track files whose review dates are due or have elapsed. 3. File/References New File Formats enabled in the References Section The application now supports additional file formats under the References section. Users can now upload the following formats, enabling broader compatibility with geospatial and image-based reference materials:  TXT  KML  JPG / JPEG  SHP  SHX  PRJ  DBF This enhancement improves flexibility and facilitates the attachment of GIS-related and other specialized reference documents within files. RESOLVED ISSUES & BUG FIXES S. NO.
