Office Order

Subject: Appointment of FSSAI's Designated Officer for Central Licensing of Eastern Region under Section 36 of FSS Act, 2006 –reg.

In pursuance of Section 36 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, read with Section 1.2.1 (1) of Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulations 2011, the under-mentioned officer is hereby appointed as Designated Officer under Central Licensing of Eastern Region for the area of Jurisdiction mentioned against his name in addition to his existing duties, until further orders:

2. The Designated Officer, so appointed shall perform the functions of the Central Licensing Authority in accordance with the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulations, 2011. This supersedes all earlier orders in this regard to the above jurisdiction.
