LI dated the 24 1 May, 2000; NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers confened by sub-sections (1.) and (2) of _ section 25 of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 ( 41 of 1999), the Authority hen;by makes the following amendments in the notification of the Authority No. S.O. 490(E) dated the 24th May, 2000; namely:- In the said Notification,- (a) for serial number 13 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number shall be substitt1ted, namely:- " 13. The Preside_nt, Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Calcutta."; (b) in the entries against serial number 17, for the words and letters "Mr. Soumil Mehta", the words and letters" Mr. Saumil Mehta" shall be substituted; (e) in the entries against serial number 18,_for the words and letters "Mr, O.P. Tyagi", the words and letters "Mr. A.K. Tyagi" shall be substituted; ' (d) after serial number 23 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number• and entries shall be inserted, namely:- "24. Mr. V.K. Bhasin, Joint Secretary 4· Legislative Counsel, Legislative ' Department Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs, Government of India"; [F. No. IRDA/IAC/1/2000] N.
