[िव/ापन III/4/161/13/असा.] INSURANCE REGULATORY AND DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY NOTIFICATION Hyderabad, the18th February, 2014 Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Conditions of Service of Officers and Other Employees) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2014 F.No. IRDA/Reg./5/88/2014.— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (2) of Section 26 of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999), the Authority, in consultation with the Insurance Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Conditions of Service of Officers and Other Employees) Regulations, 2000, namely:— 1. Short title and commencement: (1) These regulations may be called the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Conditions of Service of Officers and Other Employees) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2014. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment to Regulation 4: For the existing fourth proviso in Regulation 4(3) of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Conditions of Service of Officers and Other Employees) Regulations, 2000, the following shall be substituted: “Provided further that, Government of India Orders on reservation, relaxation and concession to members belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Persons with Disabilities, etc., in direct recruitment and promotion shall be complied with by the Authority, while undertaking such exercise.” 3. Amendment to Regulation 9: For the existing Regulation 9 of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Conditions of Service of Officers and Other Employees) Regulations, 2000, the following shall be substituted: “The seniority of an officer and other employee in the Authority will be determined in such manner as prescribed by the Authority from time to time.” T.S.
