INSURANCE REGULATORY AND DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY NOTIFICATION Hyderabad, the 22nd January, 2014 Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Licensing of Insurance Agents) ( Amendment) Regulations, 2013 F. No. IRDA/Reg./3/86/2014.—ln exercise of the powers conferred by sections 42 and 114A of the Insurance Act, 1938 (4 of 1938) read with section 26 of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999), the Authority, in consultation with the Insurance Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Licensing of Insurance Agents) Regulations, 2000, namely:— 1. (i) These regulations may be called the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Licensing of Insurance Agents) (Amendment) Regulations, 2013. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Licensing of Insurance Agents) Regulations, 2000,— (i) In regulation 7(1), the words "two hundred fifty" shall be substituted by the words "one hundred and twenty five". (ii) In Point No. 4 of Form IRDA-AGENTS-VA the words "two hundred fifty" shall be substituted by the words "one hundred and twenty five". (iii) In Point No. 4 of Form IRDA-AGENTS-VC the words "two hundred fifty" shall be substituted by the words "one hundred and twenty five". (iv) In point No. 6 of Notes and Instructions Para of Form IRDA-AGENTS- VA the words "two hundred fifty" shall be substituted by the words "one hundred and twenty five". (v) In point No. 3 of Notes and Instructions Para of Form IRDA-AGENTS-VC the words "two hundred fifty" shall be substituted by the words "one hundred and twenty five". T. S. VIJAYAN, Chairman [ADVT.
