No. IRDA/Reg./23/81/2013.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of sub-section (2) and sub-section (1) of Section 26, read with Section 25 of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999), the Authority, in consultation with the Insurance Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Meetings) Regulation, 2000, namely :— 1. (1) These regulations may be called the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Meetings) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2013. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Meetings) Regulations , 2000,— For the existing Regulation 3 (2), the following shall be substituted:— “3 (2) The Authority shall meet, as often as may be necessary but not less than four times in a calendar year, to transact its business ” T.
