CIRCULAR

Subject: Clarification regarding Sl. No. 202 of list of 358 items reserved for procurement from MSEs as per the provisions of the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs Order-2012

It is clarified that only paper bags, envelopes, Ice-cream cup, paper cup and saucers and paper Plates are covered under the head "Paper conversion products" at Sl. No. 202 of the list of reserved items under the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs Order-2012. Accordingly, the description of Sl. No. 202 as indicated in the English version of the reserved list will only be applicable.

However, if a registered micro & small enterprise (MSE) which manufactures paper conversion products and fulfils all the required specifications by the buyer, then procurement from such a MSE should be encouraged.

This clarification supersedes all earlier clarifications regarding Sl. No. 202.

This issues with the approval of Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
