सा.का.जन. 890(अ).— केन्द्रीय सरकार, बैंककारी जिजनयमन अजधजनयम, 1949 (1949 का 10) की धारा 52
द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय ररििव बैंक से परामिव करने के पश्चात्, बैंककारी जिजनयमन (कंपनी) जनयम,
1949 का और संिोधन करने के जलए, जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती है, अर्ावत्:-
1. संजिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ- (1) इन जनयमों का संजिप्त नाम बैंककारी जिजनयमन (कंपनी) संिोधन जनयम, 2025 है ।
(2) ये 15 दिसंबर, 2025 को प्रिृत्त होंगे ।
2. बैंककारी जिजनयमन (कंपनी) जनयम, 1949 (जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् उि जनयम कहा गया है) के जनयम 2 में उपजनयम
(1) के खंड (च) के उपखंड (iv) का लोप दकया िाएगा ।
3. उि जनयमों में,-
(i) जनयम 2क में, “समनुषंगी बैंक” और “कोई समनुषंगी बैंक” िब्िों का लोप दकया िाएगा ।

(ii) जनयम 15ख का लोप दकया िाएगा ।
(iii) प्ररूप 8 में,-
(क) “जनम्नजलजखत को कारबार के बंि होने पर” िीषव के नीचे “पहला एकांतर िुक्रिार+”, “िूसरा एकांतर िुक्रिार+” और
“तीसरा एकांतर िुक्रिार+” के स्ट्र्ान पर जनम्नजलजखत रखा िाएगा, अर्ावत्:-
“महीने का 15िां दिन@” और “महीने का अंजतम दिन@”;
(ख) भाग क में,-
(i) खंड 1 के उपखंड (क) की मि (i) में, “समनुषंगी बैंक” िब्िों का लोप दकया िाएगा ।
(ii) खंड 2 में, “भारतीय औद्योजगक जिकास बैंक, भारतीय जनयावत आयात बैंक, ऱाष्ट्रीय कृजष और ग्रामीण जिकास बैंक”
िब्िों के स्ट्र्ान पर, “एजजिम बैंक, राष्ट्रीय बैंक, राष्ट्रीय आिास बैंक, लघु उद्योग बैंक, राष्ट्रीय जित्तीय अिसंरचना
और जिकास बैंक, और भारतीय ररििव बैंक अजधजनयम, 1934 की धारा 2(गगगii) में यर्ा पररभाजषत अन्द्य जिकास
जित्तीय संस्ट्र्ाएं” िब्ि, कोष्ठक, अंक और अिर रखे िाएंगे ।
(iii) खंड 5 के उपखंड (क) की मि (i) में, “समनुषंगी बैंक” िब्िों का लोप दकया िाएगा ।
(ग) भाग ख के खंड 8 में, "(जपछले िूसरे पखिाडे के अंजतम िुक्रिार को 7 का 3 प्रजतित)" कोष्ठक, अंक और िब्िों के
स्ट्र्ान पर "(जपछले िूसरे पखिाडे के अंजतम दिन 7 का ऐसा प्रजतित, िो ररििव बैंक द्वारा अजधसूजचत दकया िाए)" कोष्ठक,
अंक और िब्ि रखे िाएंगे ।
(घ) भाग ग में,-
(क) खंड 11 में, "(जपछले िूसरे पखिाडे के अंजतम िुक्रिार को 25 प्रजतित या 7 का ऐसा अन्द्य जिजनर्िवष्ट प्रजतितता)"
कोष्ठकों, अंकों और िब्िों के स्ट्र्ान पर, "(जपछले िूसरे पखिाडे के अंजतम दिन को 7 का ऐसा प्रजतित, िो ररििव बैंक द्वारा
अजधसूजचत दकया िाए)" कोष्ठक, अंक और िब्ि रखे िाएंगे ।
(ख) खंड 13 में, -
(i) उपखकंड (ि) के पश्चात् जनम्नजलजखत उपखंड अंतःस्ट्र्ाजपत दकया िाएगा, अर्ावत्:-
“(झ) स्ट्र्ायी जनिेप सुजिधा स्ट्कीम के अधीन ररििव बैंक में जनजिप्त रकम।
(ii) इस प्रकार अंतःस्ट्र्ाजपत खंड (झ) के पश्चात्, "(क) से (ि) तक का योग" कोष्ठकों, िब्िों और अिरों के स्ट्र्ान पर, "(क)
से (झ) तक का योग" कोष्ठक, िब्ि और अिर रखे िाएंगे ।
(ङ) रिप्पण में, -
(i) "समनुषंगी बैंक" िब्िों का लोप दकया िाएगा ।
(ii) "िुक्रिार" िब्ि के स्ट्र्ान पर " माह का 15िां या अंजतम दिन" अंक और िब्ि रखे िाएंगे।
(iv) प्ररूप 10 में, -
(क) िीषव में, "िुक्रिार" िब्ि के स्ट्र्ान पर, "दिन" िब्ि रखा िाएगा।
(ख) भाग 1 की मि क.4 में, -
(i) उपमि 4.1.3 का लोप दकया िाएगा ।

(ii) उपमि 4.3.1 का लोप दकया िाएगा ।
(iii) मि ख में, उपमि 3.2 का लोप दकया िाएगा।
(ग) भाग 3 के पश्चात्, रिप्पणों में, -
(i) रिप्पण 1 में, "िुक्रिार" िब्ि के स्ट्र्ान पर, "दिन" िब्ि रखा िाएगा।
(ii) रिप्पण 4 में, "संबंजधत िुक्रिार" िब्िों के स्ट्र्ान पर, "माह का अंजतम दिन" िब्ि रखे िाएंगे।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10th December, 2025
G.S.R. 890(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 52 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949
(10 of 1949), and after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, the Central Government hereby makes the following
rules further to amend the Banking Regulation (Companies) Rules, 1949, namely: —
1.
Short title and commencement. — (1) These rules may be called the Banking Regulation (Companies)
Amendment Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force on the 15th day of December, 2025.
2.
In the Banking Regulation (Companies) Rules, 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘said rules’), in rule 2, in
sub-rule (1), in clause (f), sub-clause (iv)shall be omitted.
3.
In the said rules, –
(i)
in rule 2A, the words “subsidiary bank” and “a subsidiary bank” shall be omitted.
(ii)
rule 15B shall be omitted.

(iii)
in the FORM VIII, –
(a) under the heading “As at the close of business on”, for “First alternate Friday@”, “Second alternate
Friday@” and “Third alternate Friday@”, the following shall be substituted, namely: -
“15th day of the month@” and “Last day of the month@,”;
(b) in PART A,
(i)
in clause I, in sub-clause (a), in item (i), the words “subsidiary banks” shall be omitted.
(ii)
in clause II, for the words “Industrial Development Bank of India, Export Import Bank of
India and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development”, the words, brackets,
letters and figures “Exim Bank, National Bank, National Housing Bank, Small Industries
Bank, National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development and other development
financial institution as defined in section 2 (cccii) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934”
shall be substituted.
(iii)
in clause V, in sub-clause (a), in item (i), the words “subsidiary banks” shall be omitted.
(c) in PART B, for clause VIII, for the brackets, figure and words “(3 per cent of VII as on the last Friday
of the second preceding fortnight)” the brackets, figure and words “(Such per cent of VII, as on the
last day of the second preceding fortnight, as notified by the Reserve Bank)” shall be substituted.
(d) in PART C, –
(a) in clause XI, for the brackets, figures and words “(25 per cent or such other specified percentage
of VII as on the last Friday of the second preceding fortnight)” the brackets, figures and words
“(Such per cent of VII, as on the last day of the second preceding fortnight, as notified by the
Reserve Bank)” shall be substituted.
(b) in clause XIII, –
(i)
after sub-clause (h), the following sub-clause shall be inserted, namely: -
“(i) Amount deposited with the Reserve Bank, under Standing Deposit Facility Scheme.”
(ii) after clause (i), so as inserted, for the brackets, words and letters “Total of (a) to (h)”,
the brackets, words and letters “Total of (a) to (i)” shall be substituted.
(e) in the note, –
(i)
the words “Subsidiary banks” shall be omitted.
(ii)
for the word “Friday” the figures, letter and words “15th or the last day of month” shall be
substituted.
(iv) in FORM X, –
(a) in the heading, for the word “Friday”, the word “day” shall be substituted.
(b) in PART I, in item A.4, –
(i)
sub-item 4.1.3, shall be omitted.
(ii)
sub-item 4.3.1, shall be omitted.
(iii)
in item B, sub-item 3.2 shall be omitted.
(c) after PART III, in the Notes, –
(i)
in the Note 1, for the word “Friday”, the word “day” shall be substituted.
(ii)
in the Note 4, for the words “concerned Friday”, the words “the last day of a month” shall be
substituted.
