सा.का.जन. 139(ऄ).—कीटनािी जनयम, 1971 का और संिोधन करने के जलए प्रारुप जनयम, कीटनािी
ऄजधजनयम, 1968 (1968 का 46) की धारा 36 द्वारा यथापेजित, भारत के रािपत्र, ऄसाधारण, भाग II, खंड
3, ईपखंड(i) में, भारत सरकार के कृजि और ककसान कल्याण मंत्रालय (कृजि और ककसान कल्याण जवभाग), की
ऄजधसूचना संखयांक सा. का. जन. 820 (ऄ), तारीख 4 नवंबर, 2025 द्वारा प्रकाजित की गइ थी, जिसमें ऐसे
सभी व्यजियों से, जिनकी आससे प्रभाजवत होने की संभावना थी, ईस तारीख से, जिसको भारत के रािपत्र की
प्रजतयां, जिसमें ईि ऄजधसूचना प्रकाजित की गयी थी, िनता को ईपलब्ध करा दी गयी थी, तीस कदन की ऄवजध
की समाजि से पहले, अिेप या सुझाव अमंजत्रत ककये गये थे;
और ईि ऄजधसूचना की प्रजतयां, 6 नवंबर, 2025 को िनता को ईपलब्ध करा दी गयी थी;
और ईि प्रारुप जनयमों की बाबत िनता से अिेप या सुझाव केंदीय सरकार द्वारा प्राि नहीं हुए थे;

ऄतः, ऄब केंदीय सरकार, ईि ऄजधजनयम की धारा 36 द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए,
कीटनािी जनयम, 1971 का और संिोधन करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती है, ऄथाात;-
1. संजिि नाम और प्रारम्भ.– (1) आन जनयमों का संजिि नाम कीटनािी (संिोधन) जनयम, 2026 है।
(2) ये रािपत्र में ईनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. कीटनािी जनयम, 1971 के, जनयम 10 के ईपजनयम(1क) में, पहले परंतुक में, “30 िून, 2024” ऄंको, ऄिरों
और िब्द के स्ट्थान पर “30 िून, 2026’’ ऄंक, ऄिर और िब्द रखे िाएंगे ।

सा.का.जन. 1650(ऄ), तारीख 19 ऄक्टूबर, 1971 द्वारा प्रकाजित ककए गए थे और संखयांक
सा.का.जन. 368(ऄ) तारीख 3 िून, 2025 द्वारा ऄंजतम बार संिोजधत ककए गए थे।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th February, 2026
G.S.R. 139(E).—Whereas the draft rules further to amend the Insecticides Rules, 1971, was published, as
required by section 36 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968), vide notification of the Government of India in the
Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare) number G.S.R. 820
(E), dated the 04th November, 2025, in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section (i), inviting
objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby, before the expiry of a period of thirty days
from the date on which the copies of the Gazette of India in which the said notification was published, were made
available to the public;
And whereas, copies of the said notification were made available to the public on 06th day of November, 2025;
And whereas, no objections or suggestions were received from the public in respect of the said draft rules by
the Central Government;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the said Act, the Central Government
hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Insecticides Rules, 1971, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Insecticides (Amendment) Rules, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Insecticides Rules, 1971, in rule 10, in sub-rule (1A), in the first proviso, for the figures, letters and word
“30th June, 2024”, the figures, letters and word “30th June, 2026” shall be substituted.
